Your child’s tutor is the person who’ll shape their daily school life more than anyone else. Whether you’re in Madrid or M\u00e1laga, the process is the same: get face time with the tutor early, especially if your child is starting with limited Spanish or has any additional needs. For most expat families, language is the single biggest hurdle in settling into school in Spain. If your child’s school doesn’t offer dedicated language support, look at local academies, private tutors, or online classes.
